Dark Matter Theatre
An international theatre company working in both English and French to tell tales of the grotesque and ridiculous. Finding a place where laughter is cackled and snorted, where beautiful, idiotic flights of fantasy are given freedom, where the imagination is unleashed to roam and hunt its prey.
Our first show The Hearing Trumpet, was inspired by the novel of surrealist artist Leonora Carrington and toured across London, Paris and Barcelona. Our second show was an adaptation of Jean Genet's The Maids.
